costa rica~ safari raft and hanging bridges tour
like i mentioned yesterday– we spent a lot of our time in “arenal” *the area with the active volcano* doing excursions and exploring the town~ here are just a few of the photos i took while on the safari raft and hanging bridges tour- both about three hours long- where we explored the river and hiked in the mountains of costa rica!
view of the volcano from our hotel room
so many monkeys…
there are four different kinds in costa rica and we learned about all of them!
our guide, marcos, was so fantastic!!
a yellow and black toucan is up in that tree
the views in this country are breathtaking
hot springs at our first hotel
taking naps after the best weekend of our lives…
felt so good to finally relax~
and even better to wake up and look over to this…

we loved this mom, liz, and her daughter, isabel from washington dc-
she adopted her from Guatemala when she was a baby-
and should be proud of the teenager she is-
we enjoyed their company!!
bats
jose was also incredible- and hilarious.
we were so impressed by the knowledge and friendliness of the people of costa rica
