twenty nine days of yoga- day 16
teacher: ann
class: 60 min vinyasa flow (so.hot.)
what i walked away with:
how important it is to ‘get the hump out!’
*to extend your shoulders away from your neck and to pull them into one another and then down your back.
integrity.
– do you want to be remembered as someone who always displayed integrity?
= then surround yourself with people who do.

Dang! That's a lot of people! I didn't work out today…I went to happy hour instead. :o) Oops.
Yesterday, I did a 40-minute online video "barre3 Burner with Sadie." I had never done that video before, and I loved it. I especially noticed during that workout how small, subtle movements can really do so much to shape and tone the body. I used to go to the gym and spend an hour on the elliptical and HATED it. Now I do so much more for my body in such simple ways and I'm seeing much better results. I also did the 10-minute arm video–but I lost my posture a few times because my fiance was playing Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and I can't help but dance to that song–it was so hard to resist!
