well wishes for anna and baby travieso

please pray for my dear friend, anna, and her husband, oliver … and baby lucas riley tonight – she was induced at 7:30pm here in charlotte … her due date is april 25th – but after her ‘not so pleasant’ pregnancy- I am wishing her a quick and hopefully easy delivery – and most importantly, one healthy baby boy!! 

… anna is one of my favorite people of all time and has always, always been there for me – esp. when i needed her the most in charlotte – although i am usually extremely happy- she has always been there for me during the difficult times… thank you for all of your love and for everything you have always done for me- i love you so much and already miss you at work 🙁 

please keep the prayer chain rolling tonight- and baby travieso- i love you already- so much.

Anna is one of my favorite people of all time. I met her about five years ago at the school we both teach at. At the time, I was on the 7th grade hall and she was on the 6th. Anna is the most positive, lively, and optimistic person I have ever met- hand’s down. When I began getting close to her, while teaching the same subject/grade level, I instantly fell in love with her. She has the sweetest soul and cares so much about those around her. Transferring to a new grade level is never easy, but she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. This will be our fourth year teaching together and I love her even more every day. She always comes down the hallway every morning with a smile and chipper ‘hello’ and always asks if you need anything/is the first to ‘thank you’ for something small- which is beyond helpful in the teaching field. Anna is a giver way more than a taker and is the reason why I love my job so much. Teaching with people like her make you want to become a better teacher and person. We love to talk about new trends/styles, novels, diy projects, traveling, recipes, enjoy a great tapas hangout (especially soul gastrolounge), a nice glass of wine, and she is the best person to practice hot yoga next to – minus our inappropriate laughing outburst that sometimes occur!! Anna makes me feel calm and is my biggest supporter & confidant in Charlotte. She always has an open-mind and kind heart… and has the best advice- especially when needed the most. More than anything, she makes me feels good about myself, yet challenges me in an optimistic and powerful way. I am so blessed for her and know that people like her don’t come around every day – thank you for being the best co-worker and friend to me. You make me laugh harder than anyone, make me feel truly loved, and are literally always there for me … there are no words for how much I love and appreciate having you in my life.
