this morning has been a slow drip of a day thus far. sounds of tiptoes and george jones echoing throughout our home. parks is browsing library books and nash is sound asleep in his moses basket- it feels like home. 

since having our darling boy, life has been sweeter. sure, it was sweet before, but now a different kind of sweet is slowly pervading our lives. we have been cherishing our quality time spent under our cozy roof and have been making time for new rituals. some moments are calm and magical, while other moments are more tornadic in nature. no one said it would be easy. we are trying to remember to laugh and to breathe. we are trying to give attention to each other as we listen and pay attention to when we need a glass of water, a nap, a cold craft beer, a good cry, or a fun date night. to listen deeply. 

yesterday i shared nash’s newborn photo shoot. today, i wanted to share some of my very favorites of just parks and nash together. i hope someday, after many moons and memories, they can both say:
