last weekend i traveled to greenville, south carolina (i love that city) for some time with girlfriends. one of the things i did while visiting was attend a ‘my favorite things’ party. and i loved it. the concept is that everyone brings two items that they absolutely love- we went around the room and shared our items and then the hostess passed out swag bags that had a number on them. we all brought our favorite thing/things as a gift (a value of around $25) for the exchange. the number on the bag correlated with a gift (but you can also do this white elephant style). i loved hearing about inspirational books, comfortable socks, make-up, journals, candles, jewelry, etc. that others enjoy. i hope to share all of the picks on here soon… but here are some of my very favorite beauty products, along with one of my ‘favorite things.’ also, most of these are very affordable!

03. beautycounter | charcoal bar (i use this in the shower and it has done wonders on my neck/back)
04. elf | concealer (the price is incredible and i love the coverage)

07. nature republic | cleansing oil (don’t let the oil part scare you! + the smell is amazing)
08. becca powder | soft light setting powder (it covers large pores and is the perfect powder!)
09. elf | eyebrow pencil (it’s $9 for three/$2 for one in stores and works great)
11. two faced | sweetie pie matte bronzer (it’s a highlighter, bronzer and blush in one)
