thinking | being a mom is the best thing in the world. i am over the moon in love.

sending | lots of thank you notes to generous loved ones and positive thoughts for a good year ahead!

eating | i am still loving oranges, grapes, celery with peanut butter, and smoothies – and have also been enjoying a few splurges as well like a pint of ben and jerry’s half-baked frozen yogurt {my favorite one} what about you? what’s your favorite…

dreaming | about being active again {hello, yoga- come to mama!} and taking parks for long walks around charlotte soon- spring usually comes soon here {sometimes even february} however, for now, i am loving these cozy days {i don’t mind winter in the south and actually enjoy it!}

smelling | parks’ little head while we snuggle- nothing like a newborn baby smell. simply the best.

hearing | the quiet moments when it is just baby boy and i alone. i am taking in each moment and the love grows with each passing day. i also adore watching mr. monaco be a dad. he’s so loving and gentle with him. just when i think i could not love him more… i see him as a dad and it’s such a sweet love.

have a great weekend!
any exciting plans?

    How old is your little one?? Congratulations! Soak in those little baby moments; the days might seem long but it goes by so quickly. My daughter just turned 1, and I cannot believe it. Those candy sticks in the drinks are so gorgeous!! I want to do that for my friend's bachelorette party I'm planning : )

    I love that we're in the same stage-it's so fun to read someone write the same words I'm feeling. Truly nothing like the love that comes with being a new mom…I am over the moon in love with this little man.
