currently {december edition}
wishing | for a little bit more downtime this month… it’s super busy and i am hoping to stay healthy {for baby boy}. today was a rough one and just hoping i can enjoy this month and all of the magical moments i yearn to have with my little family and good friends.
remembering | the true meaning of the season… even when times get hectic and busy, i want to remember the importance of christmas and what is really the purpose. i am hoping to enjoy this season with my baby boy {love having him with me at all times} and am also hoping to give back to others as much as possible.
wrapping | i haven’t started to wrap any gifts yet, but have some wrapping ideas in mind for this year. i am a big believer in spending a little bit more time when wrapping my gifts- a little bit more love to show how much that person means to me. plus, i absolutely adore a beautifully wrapped gift.
baking | we have a few gatherings coming up and would love to hopefully make these: just ordinary cheesecake bars
decorating | we picked out our tree monday evening at the local farmer’s market and are waiting for the rain to stop so they can flock it. hopefully we can pick it up tomorrow night and begin to officially decorate our home! last year we moved into our newly built home on december 19 with a flocked tree, box of wine, and the jambox for christmas music as we decorated the tree together {after a month of packing up boxes} so i am very excited to be able to have more time and be able to enjoy the process this year!

I love your views on beautifully wrapped gifts! It just makes gift giving much more special! And now I'm dying for some cheesecake bars. That recipe looks so simple, so I may try it out as well. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
