oh baby | twenty-six weeks
how far along? | 26 weeks
due date: january 14, 2016
hanging out in baby boy’s room! can’t wait for little baby toes to fill these cute little moccs and shoes
baby’s size | baby is the size of a head of lettuce – 13.6-14.8 inches long and 1.5-2.5 pounds
gender | sweet baby boy! … and he’s currently still unnamed. any baby boy names you love? please share below… i would love to hear!
feeling | i felt so much better this week but just struggled with intense lower back pain. i am still not moving normally and hope the pinched nerve finds its right place soon- my week has consisted of a lot of ice and heat pads. *my chiropractor is awesome though. the best i have ever gone to… and i have been going to different practices since i was a teen. this morning, the pain was minimal- so, so happy and relieved. thinking about going back to pre-natal yoga tonight and again, so happy. planning to take it slow and see how it goes… namaste.
maternity clothes | still off and on… i can fit into one non-maternity pair of jeans and some shirts/dresses but maternity clothes are just so much more comfortable! i don’t have a lot of options, but what i do have, is very comfortable. i wish i could afford all of these clothes from hatch collection. simply beautiful
sleep | overall, pretty good ♥
cravings | lots of water and citrus are what i want most … and healthy food?! back to wanting that all the time- thank goodness.
fun facts | his eyes are forming, and his eyes will soon start to open. his eyelashes are now grown, too. he’s getting his immune system ready for life on the outside by soaking up your antibodies. he’s taking breaths, too. they’re amniotic fluid, not air, but it’s still good practice.
movement | yes! and mostly at night!
miss anything | sleeping on my stomach … and being able to move easily throughout the night
best moment of the week | sitting on our back porch with a cup of pumpkin coffee, a cupcake {not healthy, i know! a small treat for the week}, and the book, bringing up bebe {i love it so much! i feel like it’s my philosophy on paper. and plan to discuss very soon} it’s so nice to have a crisp breeze in the air again and to be able to sit outside without sweating – i even had a blanket on my lap!
looking forward to | a backyard wedding saturday night
how’s dad? i just can’t praise him enough… he’s been trying so hard to help out and i just adore him.
next appointment | friday, october 16 {glucose testing!} any advice?
ps: stop in tomorrow for an AmAzIng giveaway!!!

Visiting from Stuff & Things. I love that feather mobile, so amazing! I'm a few years away from having babies of my own but I love names and I've had my favourite girls' names chosen for years. Boy names are a whole different story, I definitely go through phases with them but never seem to love any as much as I love my girl names. I do tend to like Biblical or classic names for boys – James, Ezra, Asher, Elijah…

For the glucose test, my best advice is to take big gulps of the drink and not to chug it down. You'll have it finished in two minutes flat, and truly it's not that bad! After the blood draw treat yourself to a fun breakfast date with your guy 🙂

I need to read Bringing up Bebe! And we only have 14 weeks left…that is crazy to me, especially considering how fast this past week went by…we're already more than a week into October! I'm so sorry about your back pain, I'm praying you find relief soon!! And I can't wait to hear your advice on the glucose test, mine is one week after yours!

Aww, what a lovely update and so many beautiful pictures.
A backyard wedding? How lovely! I hope there will be pictures (even though I've been married for almost 9 years, wedding pictures are a secret joy of mine).
Glucose testing – yuck. I hated that syrupy stuff they make you drink.
Thanks for sharing and linking up to the #SHINEbloghop.
Wishing you a lovely day.

My glucose test wasn't bad at all! I only had to drink about a shot and a half of the drink. I think I've seen some people have to drink a whole bottle of it? It didn't taste bad but was just super sweet. Hopefully yours is easy like mine was.

The glucose test isn't so bad. I chose the Orange which tasted like flat Orange crush. I love those green baby mocs and those bookends! I need them!

Your pictures are amazing! Congrats on 26 weeks! I remember how much I missed sleeping on my stomach when I was pregnant. It is crazy how quickly you forget the discomfort of pregnancy once your LO arrives 😉
Thanks for linking up to This is How We Roll linky party!
