three little words + one role
hi you all
i am currently sitting
at an adorable coffee shop
in the arts district of charlotte
a neighborhood i used to live in
and adore
looking out at the colorful streets
sitting at a window seat
with a fresh haircut and new ombre color
{my first one since september}
a pile of books
a pistachio latte
market lights strung above
a baby’s breath planter next to me
ears open to inspiring people around
keeping in touch with loved ones
writing, planning, reading, sipping
sweet baby james
and tupelo honey
playing on the radio
my heart is happy here.
my body needed this break
more than ever
and i feel calm
i feel energy and i feel serenity.
what is your ideal way to take a break
at the end of the day, what three words do you want to be remembered for? and what one role?
my three words: kind, generous, creative
role: a loving mother

Love this post! 🙂 One of my favorite ways to take a break is by dining out with good friends and my husband, preferably outside where the breeze is cool, but the sun is warm.
I want to be remembered for being:
– good company
– imaginative
– compelling
My role: a constant creator – whether that's in photography, writing, gardening, or even growing a family. I just want to create. 🙂
