…speaking of winter weather…
today is our first snow day in charlotte!
it’s very rare here
unlike the midwest where i grew up where it snows for months straight
{which is basically like chris’ hometown on the bachelor- if you watch that! + about 1,000 people}
there are usually only one to three snowfalls a winter here
– so it’s very exciting when it happens-
i really try not stress about the fact that we have to make up this day
and just enjoy it; taking in the beauty and calmness that comes with a blanket of snow.

We have had two days off of school for ice, but there actually hasn't been much ice at all! We will definitely be back at school tomorrow! Your photos are pretty!

In Charlotte too, tomorrow no school AGAIN, but have to admit, the pictures you posted capture the peacefulness of winter.
