a grateful heart + week’s end link-up!
{enjoy this free printable}
such a wonderful week + weekend
i, without a doubt, have a grateful heart today
here are some photos and moments of gratitude:
we enjoyed a relaxing weekend at home {after lots of road trips} during the day
with night’s out on the town with loved ones
= perfection.
saturday afternoon, mr. monaco came home with a bagel sandwich, hazelnut coffee, and beautiful white roses… he didn’t remember this, but white roses have always been the symbol for my gentle and kind-hearted, paternal grandmother, who passed away in 1988. i was only five years old and remember her so vividly- i remember her love and how she always made everyone around her feel so comfortable; so special. i was so excited. it was so sweet.
saturday night we enjoyed tapas, a cheese board, a bottle of wine, and sushi at a new place in uptown charlotte called the mandrake- it was delicious. french bistro chairs for two, please.
eighth grade valentine’s day love
yesterday was one of my very favorite days
mr. monaco and i had a picnic in bed
we spent almost the whole day watching parenthood episodes {so in love}
laughing, crying, eating ice cream together
continuing to fall even more in love with the braverman family
i polled him about half way through yesterday’s marathon about his top five characters:
{we are a few episodes into season three}
mr. monaco’s picks:
– adam
– jabar (ok, didn’t see this coming, but he’s cute- we laughed}
– sarah
– joel
– amber
nelle’s picks:
– camille
– crosby
– kristina
– amber
– joel

who are your favorite bravermans?
…
it was so nice to relax and spend time together-
simply loved.
if you have never done this, i recommend.
we both went to bed last night saying, ‘i loved today!’
+ surprise!! –a link-up with oak + oats
so excited to co-host with elizabeth today for week’s end! join us…
every monday elizabeth of oak + oats hosts an amazing link-up called week’s end! it is a place for you to link up your favorite post from the week and meet new bloggers. we both love community and think that we can all learn something from each other!
guidelines:
1. link up ANY POST from last week!
2. please make sure it is a POST and not your BLOG URL. we love your blog but we want you to share a post.
3. click on one, two, three, or more posts and leave encouraging comments. the whole point of this is to find new blogs, make new friends, and all that good stuff! you must read the post right before yours and comment.
what are you grateful for this week?

Sounds like a heavenly weekend! Some of my most favorite times are the ones with Adam just spending time together, not rushing around everywhere and just enjoying each other's company! 🙂

Those roses are beautiful! Lazy days watching great shows are the best! Enjoy them now!!! They disappear when you have kids (I used to think people were being dramatic when they said things like that, but now I know the truth!)

thank you, sweet rachel. loved seeing him walk in the door with them {we had a 'no gifts' rule this year– clearly didn't happen} so beautiful. we hardly ever get a lazy day so it was glorious and i totally understand- i have babysat enough in my life to know what's coming our way at some point {hopefully!} haha. also, i just added our top five bravermans {right now- season three} – would love to hear yours. i meant to add this this morning… xo {and adam is #6 for me… almost making the cut! :)}

My top 5 Bravermans, after seeing the entire series, are as follows. 1) Zeek 2) Camille 3) Adam 4) Joel 5) Crosby. It was so hard to choose though! Amber and Kristina are tied at #6 for me. Followed by Max. :o) I'll have you know that you've inspired me to watch the entire series again. Season 1 Episode 1 is on now and (my) Max is snoozing away!

I'm reading this and assuming you've just found Parenthood? I remember when we stumbled across it while it was still on air only into the 3rd season. We had a binge watching session until we were caught up and we continued to tune in up until the very end! Tear jerker of a show, for real! My favorite Braverman is Adam and toward the end Joel really made it to the top of my list as well! Happy watching Nelle!
