a birthday reflection

the sun feels so good on my face. how lucky i am to be surrounded by love; to watch the trees sway above.

another trip around the sun 

i have always celebrated my birthday with my sister, which i love more than anything. being surrounded by our kids now is even more special.

the day started @khaliyoga – practicing yoga side by side with my sister underneath a canopy of trees was just so sacred. as the summer breeze surrounded us and we flowed, i got emotional because reflecting on blowing out my candles a year ago today on lake michigan… sadly, my wish did not come true.
but i remain hopeful.

today was a dream birthday. and my heart is so grateful.

the day was full of yoga outside, dinner on the lake, a rose garden for coffee, ice cream with a candle, live music, fresh flowers and time with my family and my sister and her daughter- i love them both dearly. 

thankful for my health and my loved ones
this year- more than ever.
