having my sweet grandma there meant the world to me.
just two days later she became a great grandma for the first time- i just adore her.
my aunt cheryl- such a faithful blog reader, inspiration of what a warm heart looks like, and so, so sweet, kind, and encouraging!! she gave us the cutest homemade swing from lil swinglets

so much love from these friends, aunts, and cousins
some traveled far to attend and it meant so much!

the mint ruffled cake from rachel’s cakes was so good and beautiful
my friends’ amazing moms – who all helped raise me! loved having them there!
my friend’s adorable daughter… filling out her bingo and baby wishes- so cute!
they were such great helpers with the gifts/wrapping paper
baby advice:

After seeing your post yesterday of part 1, I have been thinking of how I can use this theme somewhere in my life because I'm so obsessed with the beauty of your party!!! I think I can make this my daughter's first birthday theme; I make flower head wreaths and think that would go along with your theme. Loved all the photos. My friends did the same thing for my shower, with the books instead of cards. We still read some of the books 11 years later… Great memories. Everything was so pretty. Best of luck going forward, I loved being pregnant.
