a first birthday celebration: grow with me
i am so excited to share an adorable first birthday party with you all today. i grew up near the mom and dad, jenna and brad {and have shared their older daughter, reese’s, parties before… i am always so in love.} their baby, zoe, turned one last week and her party was last weekend. it was just too cute to not share. the party took place at their home in cincinnati and included lots of florals, a beautiful bare cake, tassels, garland, adorable favors, and giant balloons.
i hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
‘and one to grow on…’
they are simply the cutest family
minted is my favorite for invites!
i am all about an area designated for decor
on a few small tables as a focal point
i am obsessed with this set-up
simply lovely
everything about the cake was stunning.
the perfect spring time party favor
…
i was out thrift shopping yesterday with my mom, cousin, and parks and saw some of these vintage crates in downtown tipp city {ohio people!} – they are about $15-30 each
nothing says birthday fun like a cake pop
party favors
love the playroom! so cute
sweet girl
she is too.cute.for.words
sister love – nothing like it.
isn’t this wall in their playroom just the cutest touch?
i think she loved what her momma did for her
love from her sweet great grandma, audrey

lastly, i had the honor of being the ‘mystery reader’ in my little cousin, ansley’s first grade class at minster elementary this morning. i read the giving tree, answered one billion fun questions, and loved meeting these little kids! my cousin married her mom, who is also a teacher there {she is one of my very favorite people in life} and had no idea i was coming! her reaction was so amazing.
fun fact: ansley is also jenna’s second cousin … our cousins married one another… so small-town and i love it.
the mystery clues were:
1. one of you were in her wedding {ansley was our beautiful flower girl}
2. two teachers at minster used to babysit her
3. she lives in north carolina and just had a baby
…
ansley totally knew it was me!
loved it.
…
it feels so, so good to be back here- we are having a wonderful time
the adventures with parks continue and i can’t wait to share soon on here
until then, feel free to follow me on instagram
