a trip to the carolina coast

i wanted to share some photos from our trip to the beach last weekend for easter and a mini family vacation. we traveled a few hours away to north myrtle beach and stayed at a hotel called the towers at north beach plantation. the outdoor space at the hotel was simply beautiful, with lots of options! if you live in the carolinas (or near), i recommend this place!
there were pretty snap dragons everywhere
these chubby baby feet and toes

the salty air was good for the soul
he loved the balcony and would run in and out …
his jammies are from the gap!
snuggling with momma
i love my little family
we took shifts while he snoozed during the day
we went to barefoot landing one night after dinner. it was so nostalgic… my family went here every other year when i was a little girl. there was something in me that felt so magical as we walked around. the best part… riding the carousel with my boys. (the prettiest one i have ever seen- i loved the colors on it) seeing parks’ face – as the music played – as he went up and down
… as we were spinning as a family of three (the only people on the carousel)
it was so beautiful. i will never forget it. truly.
my father-in-law snapped this … i am pretty sure i will always cherish this photo.
