an annual autumn family dinner
we started this tradition last fall to mark the beginning of a new season and to celebrate three years in our home. the beginning of summer is usually spent at the beach and winter is christmas, but for spring and fall, we decided to celebrate with a family dinner in our sunroom. my second, nash, loves to help me set up the table and decorate and my oldest loves to be the waiter/butler. it’s become the most special evening together- quality time, our love for the seasons (one of my favorite things in life), our home, food and drinks we love. this year, we listened to a michael jackson vinyl and had thai food and sushi. my husband made some cocktails and we shared our favorite things we love to do in fall underneath the market lights with a crisp wind coming through.
