HOPING | to become a morning person in 2015. wish me lots of luck. there is something so special about seeing the world come alive. i used to run early every saturday morning with a group of people in uptown charlotte {while training for two half marathons} … i absolutely loved watching the city wake up. my goal is to wake up earlier – so i am not ‘running for the hills’ as my husband calls it… but instead giving myself more time to enjoy some moments of solitude- to pray, to enjoy some tea, check some awesome blogs, watch the today show, listen to pandora… however, the night owl in me might have to die first? any ideas? i love staying up late, but also want to enjoy my mornings… please let me know if you have transitioned and have any really great ideas? i would love to hear… inspired by these ideas from skinny mom.
BAKING | i have my eye on these skinny vanilla bean donuts from the skinny fork.
RESOLVING | over the past few years i have really started to focus on healthy living and the fact that we only have one body- treasure it and take really good care of it. i am hoping to continue this in our new kitchen by starting to cook more – healthy cooking. i hope to share my recipes and findings with you all- so please stay tuned.

I'm with you on the transitioning to being a morning person. It is such a hard thing to do. All the best with that goal.

Oh, we share many goals for 2015! Becoming a morning person may be my toughest goal yet (26 years later, and still no success!). Wishing you better success than I've had! Look forward to reading a follow-up post in the future. 🙂
