healthy babies | from the inside out with evivo

evivo–
two years ago, i was expecting sweet baby monaco… and now we are less four months away from his second birthday. i think one of the most overwhelming tasks, when you are first expecting, is figuring out what you really need once baby arrives. there are countless brands and products out there and everyone has a different opinion on what you really need once baby arrives. i would tell a new mom (all of these things) but also- and i know it’s hard- but don’t stress about all the things, because really, the most important thing is to really just keep your baby clean, fed, healthy, and loved! and you will be just fine.
i try really hard not to hold onto things or have regrets (both of which are so difficult at times) but one of the biggest things i would do differently? i am a huge proponent of these three things: chiropractic care, essential oils, and probiotics. every mother wants to give her baby all that he/she needs to grow healthy and strong. we all do. i feel like often we are wrapped up in the cute onesies and the best strollers (i am totally guilty of this as well- and it’s totally okay to find excitement and to enjoy this process) however, i also think it’s important to focus on the more important parts of infancy as well- like health. lately, this has been a priority for both myself and for my family. i recently discovered evivo, the best probiotic for babies. evivo is the first and only probiotic that is clinically proven to restore a baby’s gut microbiome to its original, natural state. so now with love and the science behind evivo, mothers can now give their babies an even better start.

from the inside out |
most american babies appear healthy- they are growing, gaining weight, and hitting their developmental milestones, which leads us to believe they’ll grow into healthy kids, but why then do so many babies who appeared healthy on the outside, end up metabolic and autoimmune issues later in life?
a few stats |
+ there are two children with food allergies in almost every kindergarten classroom (FARE)
+ over one million children in the u.s have type 1 diabetes (american diabetes association
+ 9.6 million children under the age of 18 have eczema (national eczema org)
+ the rate of obesity doubles as children grow from toddlers to teens (cdc
researchers looked at these cases and found that a specific type of good gut bacteria called B. infantis has gone missing in many present-day u.s babies, causing an imbalance in the gut that isn’t always seen from the outside.  the presence of B. infantis, the good bacteria, reduces the potentially harmful bacteria linked to the stats / medical conditions above. it’s disappeared over generations and babies no longer receive B. infantis at birth due to the unintended consequences of modern medical practices. evivo is the only probiotic that’s clinically proven to restore the baby’s gut to the way nature intended.
i believe and have always believed that you should do what you feel (in your gut. i had to.) is right for your family, for your child/children… along with recommending evivo, here are some other tips + advice i have for new moms |
+ the baby stage is so short. enjoy every moment. even if your baby cries a lot- smile at your baby. sometimes i remind myself to smile at parks throughout the day (even when he throws/shatters a coffee mug and throws baking powder all over our pantry like yesterday) … ever since he was a baby, i tell him, ‘i know it’s hard being a baby/toddler.” just like i have been learning along the way, so is he.
+ surround yourself with mommas who are like-minded and support you- not ones who put things on you and want to bring you down. store all parenting advice in a ‘parenting toolbox’ and pull things out when you need to.
+ work/life balance is hard. just try your best and don’t forget to kiss your partner.
+ don’t be afraid to venture out with your baby. the more you do it, the easier it gets. pack up your nursing cover if it helps you feel more comfortable (i love milkmaid goods and covered goods) and essentials (possibly more than you need with baby #1- but that’s okay) and go on little adventures. ps: try to shower and get out of the house daily. (it’s life-changing. trust me. you can read more about this here
+ try not to de-code everything… once you have the sleep, eating, activities figured out, your baby’s needs will change. everything is just a phase. try to relax and take it all in.
+ we all mess up. give yourself a break (often!) you will need it. you will also feel like you want to ‘get back to normal’ … but the truth is, you won’t ever be able to achieve that… because this is the new ‘normal.’
+ motherhood is ‘magical.’ you will magically adapt to the things you never imagined you would be able to handle. you will find strength you never knew you had. love, love, love that precious baby.
we will definitely be using this product the next time around.
it’s simple and easy to use …
you mix one sachet of evivo probiotic powder with 3-5 ml of breast milk in the mixing bowl they provide. then you dropper-feed the mixture to your baby (the syringe is also provided)
evivo’s packaging keeps out light, moisture, heat, and air. you keep it in the refrigerator or freezer until you are ready to use. right now, the pairing of evivo and breast milk is the pairing that is 100% effective.

I don't think that I ever thought of this when I had my children (now 18 and 20). I do know that I think of our health now. I know that I would start with whole foods opposed to manufactured ones. Thanks for providing information that I can share with the new Moms around me.

thank you so much!! i wasn't aware of the issues / benefits either – so interesting and so excited about the effects this product can have. hope your kids are doing well and i also strongly believe in whole foods over processed for little ones especially. have a great friday and weekend!

I tell Phoenix all of the time "it's hard being a baby". I wish I would have understand the phases they go through that first year especially — the concept of a "schedule" is almost comical until they are a year!
