little glimpses | early spring

“Wherever life can grow, it will. It will sprout out, and do the best it can.”
-Gwendolyn Brooks, Winnie

embracing springtime around our home |
01. brightening up tiny corners with soft colors
02. floral vintage art
03. fresh produce (especially mangos) and weekly flowers- from the market + pieces from nature from our yard
04. gently worn-in quilts for picnics
05. an afternoon nap in the hammock
06. gingham fabric (mustard, green, and brown are my current favorites)
07. spring oils
08. walking through a favorite greenhouse
09. peach colored candle tapers
10. wicker baskets
11. cleaning parties
12. joni mitchell (‘both sides now’ might be my favorite song ever) + eva cassidy (especially ‘songbird’) radio
13. fresh eggs from a friend’s urban farm . soulshine organics
14. the glow from market lights in our sunroom at dush
15. waking up every morning and seeing all the blooms in our new yard; renewal.

i love each season
living somewhere that has them all four is so important to me- to my innermost soul.
i love spring for so many reasons
but i love it most for its promise

what a magical first spring at home
