i am currently in my sixth year teaching middle school…
8th grade language arts.
here is an inside look into my classroom:
i decided to put a painted bookcase- of my favorite color- red- on top of my desk to help with organization and teaching resources…

my students can ‘earn’ small prizes with tickets that they gain from doing the right thing/going above and beyond/helping another student/working hard:

*every friday, my students have ‘daybooks’ due – they are essentially journal entries and all most of them love enjoy creating different prompts– every now and then– ms. wolf is mentioned- some complaining about work/projects… which is ok… and then some love too:

i’ve learned that organization is key.
