nash turns two

in the middle of june, our nash charlie turned two. we celebrated with a simple day together… enjoying all of his very favorite things. a few days before i would ask him whose birthday was coming up and he would excitedly shout, ‘mine!!!’ and then i would ask, “how old are you going to be?” and he would shout, “two!!” it was so precious. on his special day- although so little- i feel like he really knew that it was his day. the day was full of daniel tiger, donuts, smoothies, watermelon, white balloons in our backyard, a trip to optimist hall for grilled cheese and gelato, a new bicycle, and then we ended that day with a night at the park … running around together and kicking balls. there was so much joy. although it was almost two months ago, i wanted to sharethe day with you all. nash- we love you beyond words
