oh baby | fourteen weeks

how far along? | 14 weeks 


due date: january 14, 2016


baby’s size | baby is the size of a lemon |  3.4 inches and 1.5 ounces 


gender | a baby BOY!!! {go check out our gender reveal, which took place on july 12 if you haven’t seen the photos- a very special day!} 

feeling | much better. and i can start to feel some energy coming back!! hello second trimester {which started today!} i am so excited to see you… 

maternity clothes | not quite yet! so excited to start looking for some staple items to add to my wardrobe soon… my bump started to ‘pop’ last week while visiting my family in ohio.

workouts | arm workouts, yoga, and lots of walking! 

weight | not sure! i will find out today – at my last appointment i was down 3 pounds from my original appointment. 

sleep | still good! yay

appetite | it varies… food aversions are still my biggest challenge! this baby still loves sweets though {although the old wives tales say it should be salty for a boy!} nothing salty and not a lot of meat ever sound good! 

fun facts| he’s probably sucking his thumb and wiggling his toes – his kidneys are making urine, and his liver and spleen are doing their jobs, too – and he’s growing lanugo, a thin, peach-fuzz-like hair, all over his body – helping to keep him warm!

miss anything | still beer. 

best moment of the week | finding out we are having a son with loved ones!!!! … spending time with family & dear friends last weekend as the baby got to experience his mommy’s roots for the first time- life in the country! 

looking forward to | celebrating mr. monaco’s and the baby’s nana’s birthdays this weekend 

next appointment | today! for a basic check-up and to hear baby’s heartbeat! prayers <3
