oh baby | twenty-seven weeks
how far along? | 27 weeks
due date: january 14, 2016
baby’s size | baby is the size of a rutabaga — 13.6-14.8 inches long and 1.5-2.5 pounds
gender | sweet baby boy! … and again, he’s still unnamed. any baby boy names you love? please share below… i would love to hear!
feeling | feeling great this week! no complaints – i am not overly tired and can walk normally without pain- so life is good.
maternity clothes | it’s still a mixture ♥ i love asos so much and the dresses i got from old navy are very comfortable for teaching.
movement | this was definitely his most active week yet!! he is moving around more and more each day…
sleep | this week has been amazing. i am crashing and getting great sleep – so thankful for this!
cravings | i love fruit and ice water most
fun facts | he can open his eyes now!! he is also practicing inhaling and exhaling with his rapidly developing lungs. and it’s official- baby is showing brain activity!! and his brain is becoming more complex.
miss anything | hot yoga. pre-natal is great, but i miss the heat!
best moment of the week | the bliss of a pre-natal massage – it was so serene and just wonderful.
how’s dad? he’s so excited to become a dad and loves to watch/feel him move in my belly! i can’t wait to see him hold our little boy.
looking forward to | celebrating baby with charlotte family and friends this weekend! i can’t wait to see my husband’s brother/his awesome wife/their adorable kids {from philly} and my best friend from home, who now lives in greenville, south carolina- who are all traveling in to attend! excited to see them all and have some girl time with renee saturday evening. so nice of them all to come! and again, so thankful for my husband’s family, who are throwing us our charlotte baby shower- so excited to celebrate with special loved ones.
ps: you can still enter my current giveaway!

I love the look of the nursery! I also feel like boy names are harder to think of than girls, no idea why, but I definitely have this problem! Good luck!!

Yeah for getting good sleep during this stage in your pregnancy! I am starting to get hip pains at night, so lots of tossing and turning. Maybe I need a prenatal massage too!!

Congratulations! Love the nursery pics. I don't have any kids of my own yet, and I'm not sure what names to suggest. I think Liam and Kaleb are good names. That's just me though.

Congrats!! We just had a baby girl. 🙂 With picking a name, we had the opposite problem that you have– we had three boys names, but no girls names! Here are a few boy names I like: Jacob, Benjamin, Asher, and Ethan. 🙂
