oh hey. friday! :: a hot chocolate bar
baby it’s cold outside…
one of my favorite traditions with mr. monaco is going to pick out our christmas tree at the place where we buy flowers/fresh produce in the summer, pumpkins in the fall, and then our tree in december. it’s always festive and full of beautiful trees. market lights are strung above and music is playing. you can see the charlotte skyline from the market. we pick up some fresh mistletoe/a tree and then go back and decorate and drink hot chocolate.
i just love the idea of setting up a hot chocolate bar for guests…
here are my ideas for creating an adorable one – enjoy!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I received the "Nutcracker" book in the mail yesterday! I am excited to give it to my daughter to read to my 3 1/2 year old grandson (and the others, too; but they are only 1 1/2 years and 4 1/2 months, and will enjoy it more later. Years ago when I left Germany with my then 6 month old son, I had bought a nutcracker and used it for many years while my 3 children were growing up. Several years ago, my youngest daughter wanted to borrow it to use with her elementary school music classes to teach them about the Nutcracker Ballet; she still has it – and the story will just enhance what the kids are learning! She is now a stay-at-home-mom and plans to home school the 3 kids at least through elementary school age. Thank you again for the awesome gift!! The grandchildren will LOVE them all!!!
