parisian love
i love paris in the springtime…
throughout the year of 2006, i traveled around europe…
i loved the entire experience and am grateful for the chance to experience these beautiful countries… i miss it all the time. if given the chance again, i would definitely go abroad for a year or two. although the places are unbelievable, people are more important to me. — so i wouldn’t go permanently, but am not against a few years…
when traveling, i was least interested in going to paris, france- i thought, “i probably won’t like it/the french can be rude…” my parents raised me to be very open-minded to all people and cultures; however, i wasn’t very excited about paris. little did i know, that it would be a top three … maybe even the top city of all time for me. it is ME. i took in the entire experience and loved every single second of it. to be honest, there isn’t much not to love there.
…
the other night i was babysitting for my two little neighbor girls, Sophia and Ava… they are so very precious and there isn’t anything not to love about them as well… they are so polite, sweet, and funny. i adore watching them … but i received the best compliment ever, for me, from them … they said, ‘janelle, we love pierre- he’s so cute (they watch him when we travel and ironically, i guess he is parisian too:)) and we LOVE your house… it smells so good and it reminds us of paris – it’s very french in there!” … yay!!
