relaxing & productive march madness weekend
this weekend was exactly what i have been yearning for…
it was productive, yet so relaxing too.
here is a re-cap:
whole foods love for the week:
yesterday, i spent the morning getting organized and then met some girlfriends uptown at the wooden vine on tryon street for an excellent brunch… i would definitely recommend going!!
highlights: the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing – we had the most amazing wooden/unique shaped table, which was perfect for 9 of us to chat and catch up.
they also offer all you can drink mimosas – i went with a bloody mary- delicious and the perfect amount of spicy.
one of my favorite parts though – they were playing country music- my love & so rare down here…
the wooden vine
my meal- so great!!
… i think i could eat avocados for every meal.
amy and joyner (goebel) 🙂
kelley anne is so creative and loves to craft- we have SO much in common and i love when she comes to visit from nashville… here are a few items she has given/made for our wedding: LOVE.
and thank you SO much.
reserved signs for the church pews – two for each side for our family members
i love my hanger- so nice of you! |
polished nail bar in southend for a mani- where march madness was on- perfect combo.
i came home yesterday afternoon to the most amazing surprise- my wonderful cousin, jenny, from illinois sent me this adorable package: i’ve always looked up/love her and my aunt jude- they definitely know me- so well.
*tim and i were able to spend time together last night – rare this month- we went up to to bw’s to watch basketball and have a drink- so nice.
yesterday afternoon, my dad texted me and said, ‘what’s up?’ … i told him about brunch, how i was reading for book club, and how we were thinking about grabbing a drink – he wrote back: ‘ you are relaxing girl?! good for you.’
exactly= felt so good.
i did it.
this morning, i was able to get all of my errands done by exactly 12:15pm for the ohio state/iowa state tip off in dayton- GO BUCKS!! so many nerves already… ahh.
(talk about love.)
no matter the outcome- a lifetime of love for the scarlet and gray.
adore this idea for easter: i have a very thoughtful and creative student this year who likes to do this same concept for me – she empties out an egg and then leaves cute messages in the egg for me – for example:
‘you are an eggxellent teacher!’
so cute.
also excited for palm sunday mass tonight 🙂 i don’t think i have ever missed palm sunday and used to love how my mom would twist our palms into beautiful designs after church…
happy sunday to you!
