salvaged beauty {noda}

last sunday after weeks and weeks of travels, events, and other commitments, mr. monaco and i decided to spend the day together. we did what my parents refer to as ‘taking a drive’ …. and we went around charlotte and explored.  after a yummy breakfast sandwich and latte at the sunflour bakery in elizabeth {our old neighborhood} we went thrifting, started to register for baby boy, and had dinner out. we found some new and super cute places in noda {the arts district area} of charlotte. one of these places is called salvaged beauty… it was love at first sight for me. and it’s connected to a new brewery- even better. here are a few photos i snapped with my iphone as we walked around the space. if you are in the area/live here, i recommend going. such a cool vibe and lots of great pieces. for more info, go check out their facebook page, salvaged beauty, noda
they are very generous and told me that all my readers can receive a 10% off when visiting- so nice.
ask for the “vintagesimplylove” discount when purchasing!
{*this post isn’t sponsored – i just loved their shop so much and wanted to share!}
 i loved all of the feminine pieces in this room- so beautiful!
who had this toy!?!
my sister and i played hours and hours of ‘store’ on this same cash register
<3 vintage aprons
i feel like i spent a lot of my childhood on roller skates!
anyone else?!
we would set up our imaginary places in our basement on skates and spent lots of time outside on them as well… these brought back memories with my old neighborhood gals!
there were three bookcases full of vintage fisher price items – oh, the memories!
do any of these stand out to you as childhood favorites?
are you a thrifter/vintage lover, too?

hope your week is going well
check in tomorrow for a new bump update – week sixteen!
have a great day!

    I love the fridge and the xylophones, we're thinking of getting Sophie a xylophone (best or worst idea ever…) and that vintage one looks beautiful. Maybe one nearby us has one already 🙂
