seven instagram feeds to follow

if you would have told me years ago, when i joined instagram, that it would inspire and encourage me the way that it does… i do not know if i would have believed it. not in the way that it does. it’s now my favorite social media outlet. {and although i do not like the new icon, which i feel like almost broke the internet last week #bringbackthevintagecamera … i do love the new, clean look within the app!} what are your thoughts on the new changes? yay or nay? blog posts aside, it’s my go-to for daily inspiration. there are so many beautiful feeds that i love to follow… i enjoying seeing a gimpse into others’ lives through their photo feeds. it’s my absolute favorite way to follow and keep in touch with family, friends, and other bloggers.

friday evening we had a date night 

we went to a new area of town called ‘the gold district’ of southend – charlotte

our first stop was at seoul food meat co. 

which is a koren/southern bbq fusion resturant 

and it was SO GOOD. 

… 

then we walked over to a brewery for live music and food trucks under some market lights

followed by the craft tasting room & growler shop

they were playing ‘ferris bueller’s day off’ on a giant screen/projected onto a building outside 

we had such a great time; savoring some time together

{but missing the baby at the same time}

saturday afternoon, we attended a ‘stock the bar’ wedding shower at tyber creek irish pub

and it was a blast. 

baby parks received so much love from our wonderful friends

and i plan to share our gift for the awesome couple soon

sunday afternoon, i attended, ‘a secret gardens tour of the fourth ward’ 

which is a historic area of uptown charlotte

i went with a few girls and the weather was absolutely perfect

the tour was full of beautiful, victorian homes + gardens + cocktails 

{a post coming soon!}

sweet baby toes 

yesterday, parks turned four months old 

look for a eat.sleep.play update later this week 

i love him.
