soiree – a swanky little bridal event
about a week ago, i contacted old south vintage rentals about a possibility for the wedding… and fell in love with the owner, sam – she’s fabulous!! so sweet. she then offered me two vip tickets to a soiree that was held in uptown charlotte last night- 4.18.13~ it then dawned on me that my mom was coming into town – and since she’s been so far away for most of the planning ;( i took her up on the offer- it was so wonderful. sorry aunt vicki that we missed your birthday- i felt terrible, but we will celebrate tonight!
… here are some of the highlights.
the pinterest board of inspirations for the event… love.
very similar to our colors!!
we had sangrias and guacamoles at vida- where tim and i met- before the event…
trio= regular, jalapeno, and mango guac
gold touches everywhere- loved.
lime margarita jalapeno sorbet and the location was perfect.
thank you again for the tickets, old south vintage!! love all of your items…
another gReAt part was meeting amy wiegand from charlotte wedding magazine– who happens to have lived in the same exact house that i live in now prior to me… small world.
so great meeting her!!
great day for a little
… when i went in august to a soiree, i was pretty clueless about so many vendors- however, tonight it was so great to see a lot of the people that we are using for our wedding-
such nice people.
later this afternoon, i am traveling to greenville, south carolina to visit my friend, renee, with my mom, aunt, and cousin- adore that cute city.
…
i get to try on my wedding gown today too 😉 fitting #2.
