happy 1st birthday, taylor kate

Two tiny feet,
That wave in the air…
Two tiny hands,
That tug at your hair..
And an adorable little face,
A bundle of joy to love & embrace.

***************
I’m learning to laugh & play,
Love to smile
And my bright blue eyes light up the world~
But the fun has only just begun,
Lookout world, I’m turning one

We have loved watching you grow so far…

Love You to pieces
Taylor Kate!

*it also happens to be the week that her dad turned 30!
happy 30th jeff- we love you too!
wishing you many more…
*wish i could be there today- my heart is there though*
-tim made the trip up and is enjoying his time there-
he’s going to document the ‘tutu & ties’ cookout today with photos
& i will post soon!
such a cute idea!
my friend, jess, gave tim and i are wedding gift last night-
she brought us back gorgeous lace placemats and a heart ornament from ireland
(where she was on our wedding day)
 – so special.
thank you, jess <3.

the heat finally broke yesterday- which would be perfect timing for the campfire night that my friends were hosting last night in their beautiful new house-
it was such a great time… catching up with amazing friends of close to six years…
who are like family to me and i missed them so much traveling/moving this summer.

*so nice to put on my boots (my favorite clothing piece) for the first time this fall, with a scarf, red wine, friends, the campfire (made me feel like i was at home in the midwest), and an autumn breeze … the only downfall was that s’mores are definitely not paleo 🙁 ha …
AND they had the best idea- instead of using hershey’s chocolate- to use peanut butter cups … oh, I will be trying this in october 🙂
thank you so much, brookes!
it was so nice.
*however, before going last night, i did make the paleo cookie recipe from
delicious- so good!
plus, they only took about 10 min to prep- and then 6 minutes to bake-
so easy!
*and this was without the chocolate chips!!
this morning, i met a friend, who wanted to borrow some wedding decor
at the regional farmer’s market in charlotte-
wow.

fell instantly in love~
it’s huge, low priced, full of amazing fresh/local produce/flowers/crafts

it’s on yorkmont rd –
if you’ve never been- you should definitely check it out
all of this = $13 🙂

thank you for introducing the market to me, catelyn!

*plus it’s a BEAUTIFUL day- it’s about 75, sunny, and feels like autumn-
i went on a long walk this morning (i was actually chilly at first) followed by blackhawk’s amazing pandora around the house and football with friends later today- love.
another osu flashback:
let’s go bucks
*november 20, 2004- michigan game- hiney gate- rocking out to the danger brothers*
we won 37-21 and it was awesome.

*hoping to continue photos from our trip to costa rica tomorrow…

enjoy your saturday!
