twine and cotton | apothecary candles

{astleigh and sweet greer girl}
hi! i hope you had a fantastic weekend and thank you all so, so much for the kind words, prayers and encouragement about my post friday regarding leaving the classroom for my new role as a mom.  i was overwhelmed by all of the messages. so many thoughtful words… i shouldn’t have been surprised but i really was. we were road tripping nine hours from north carolina to ohio and i could not get over the hundreds of gestures sent me way- wow. on instagram, some of my previous students wrote some of the sweetest notes i have ever read. i was just blown away. i am so thankful to have such genuinely kind people in my life.  we are loving our time in the midwest and are thankful for the chance to visit family and friends.
today, i am so -over the moon- excited to introduce you to twine and cotton candles. these beautiful, hand poured soy wax candles, are created by one of my favorite bloggers, the wonderful astleigh of hill collection. i just love her. astleigh shares my deep love for fall {it’s so soon!!} and is also a new momma {her little girl is just three weeks older than parks.} i actually had the honor of meeting her and her amazing husband, pete, in charlotte about a year and a half ago and enjoy following her lovely lifestyle blog so much {and motherhood journey.} share a love for fall as well? go check out these wood tip apothecary candles. how gorgeous are they?
i love the font, wreath, and simple wood touch
the labels are gorgeous and the scents… too good to choose just one
a note from astleigh:
I’m smitten with the fragrances I selected to create our soy wax, wood wick apothecary candles. And I hope you are too! You’ll be immediately transported to the bests of fall with the aromas coming from these candles. From dreams of pumpkin picking to crisp air and a plaid blanket wrapped around you as you sit fireside, these 8 scents embody the essence of autumn. Head to our shop to read about each candle and for the scent description!”
these make the perfect gift as well
especially for a new homeowner, a thank you, a hostess, or a ‘just because’
i ordered the ‘pumpkin fields’ and ‘farmhouse gathering’ candles
 {and can’t wait to get a few more soon!}
which one appeals to you most?
(there are descriptions on her etsy site– but don’t they all sound so lovely?)
i am so excited for my sweet friend
congrats to you and best wishes on your candle making journey
