where i've been-

most of you know that i don’t usually miss a day without sharing something with you on simply love… 

however, my heart feels shattered this week and has been in another place.

as i mourn the loss of a one-of-a-kind and much loved person… 

on monday, september 15, my sister’s fiancé, bassey, unexpectedly lost his brother, imoh- his lifelong best friend. 

they had just spent the weekend together with friends/family in new orleans to celebrate the upcoming wedding on october 11. 

please keep my sister and especially her fiancé in your thoughts and prayers- along with all of his family and friends.

bassey had a remarkable, very special, and extraordinary bond with his brother – 

one unlike i have ever seen before. 

imoh- everyone who met you- loved you so much. you lit up a room with your smile and exuded kindness, genuineness, and fun wherever you went – i can feel God’s arms wrapped tightly around me this week {so much love} and i know bassey, jess, family, and friends can as well. 

the eno-idems are family and i know that we will forever feel your presence around us, Imoh.  

i love you more than words, bassey!
you are so strong.

thank you all so much- people are incredible and it’s times like this that really make you aware and grateful for the people who mean the most to you… the people who will always be there for you. 

the amount of love we have all received this week has been beyond words-

 unlike nothing i have ever felt before. we are traveling up to michigan this weekend for the viewing/funeral and i can’t wait to hug my family- i miss them so much. i have never experienced pain quite like this before. it’s so hard to watch your favorite people in so much pain.
